Meet Paul

“I am responsible for internal sales at Prins. This means I deal with various things within the sales process. That’s the great thing about my job: it is varied and very broad. Working at Prins certainly involves more than just processing orders; there is also a lot of planning and coordination. You actually have the reins firmly in your hands. So it is important to know how the whole process within the organisation works, from sales all the way to delivery and after-sales. This means you are given the opportunity to share your ideas about a wide range of issues. They can be technical, commercial or logistical in nature - in short, anything you can imagine.

My operating area is mainly the Netherlands, but it is also a team game. That is why I also work closely with our European colleagues in Germany and France, and am in regular contact with our colleagues China and India. What I really appreciate is the chance to visit customers together with fellow account managers. These visits and discussions also result in new and valuable insights, which I then take into account when doing my job.

My experiences

I arrived at Prins around 9 years ago, when I suddenly had to find a new job because of restructuring at my previous employer. The job I was looking for ideally had to incorporate my technical, commercial and business background. And the internal sales position at Prins fits the bill quite well. During my first interview, I realised that this was the job for me, and I still really enjoy working here.

We are a small and tight-knit team, and keep each other on our toes. But I also like the fact that we can still inspire one another. You have to enjoy working in a small team, in an organisation with an open culture. This is something I really like about Prins, because we are always able to address challenges as a team and are successful together! This means you are closely involved in current and new projects, as well as all process-related developments. As a result, you can communicate everything to customers in an appropriate manner. This in turn leads to satisfied customers, and that is our objective after all. We thus also regularly receive positive feedback from our customers about how we work, and that is something I am rather proud of!
